The operation process of a nitrogen-hydrogen gas compressor.
2022-06-16
The nitrogen-hydrogen gas compressor is a type of compressor that compresses mixed media, primarily using a piston reciprocating mechanism.
It mainly consists of components such as the machine body, crankshaft, connecting rod, crosshead, piston, cylinder, and gas valve.
The nitrogen-hydrogen gas compressor can be driven by either an electric motor or a gas turbine.
The electric motor drive requires the configuration of corresponding transmission, distribution, and transformation systems.
The power supply requirement for the motor is first-level load, which is greatly constrained by the power grid.
It is generally selected in areas with high environmental protection requirements, reliable external power supply, lower electricity prices, and sufficient power supply.
After the motor starts, it drives the crankshaft to rotate, and through the transmission of the connecting rod, the piston performs reciprocating motion, causing periodic changes in the working volume formed by the inner wall of the cylinder,
the cylinder head, and the top surface of the piston.
When the piston starts to move from the cylinder head, the working volume in the cylinder gradually increases,
At this time, the gas pushes open the intake valve along the intake pipe and enters the cylinder until the working volume reaches its maximum, at which point the intake valve closes;
When the piston moves in the opposite direction, the working volume in the cylinder decreases, and the gas pressure increases,
When the pressure in the cylinder reaches and slightly exceeds the exhaust pressure, the exhaust valve opens,
and the gas is discharged from the cylinder until the piston moves to the limit position,
and the exhaust valve closes. When the piston moves in the opposite direction again, the above process repeats.
In summary, when the crankshaft rotates once, the piston reciprocates once, and the processes of intake, compression, and exhaust are successively realized in the cylinder, completing a working cycle.
